Hylton Castle and its adjoining Dene are great resources for learning and our team can help you make the most of them with visits to the site and sessions in the classroom. We offer a wide range of opportunities for all ages to learn either at the Castle or our learning co-ordinator can come to you.
Visits are curriculum linked with lots to look at and learn about. Our qualified teacher and learning volunteers make sure learning is fun with workshops ranging from “The Romans” to “Medieval Muck!” From time to time we also run subject specific courses for adults.
Hylton Castle Trust also offer training opportunities for young people, mentoring them as they gain skills and qualifications to help make their first steps towards a new career.
